A big hello from Amy Bright Mckenzie. Amy hails from Baltimore MD, and has lived in the Sandhills since 1984. Her love for the outdoors and gardening brought her to Pinehurst to study Landscape Gardening at Sandhills Community College. The charm, beauty and small town feel, with a hint of posh, has kept her very happy in her niche called the Village of Pinehurst. Amy has 2 grown children which she raised in this pine filled paradise. She and her late husband lovingly restored the "Campbell Cottage" in Old Town Pinehurst. Amy continues to find areas of the cottage that need tweaking as restoration of old furniture and collectables is one of her passions. She can be seen walking or riding in her golf cart around the village with her furry yellow labrador companions, 2 of them. Amy has spent many years in service volunteering for Village of Pinehurst, she chaired 2 committees in the building of Camelot park, spent 6 years on the Community Appearance Commission and is now on the Village Beautification Committee. Amy's love for gardening and local farmer support has her volunteering a couple times a month at the Farm2Table packing station also. Her love of natural beauty and concern for development make her a natural in the Real Estate business. Amy became licensed in Real Estate in 2000, and been very successful. She could not be more thrilled with her career path. Amy has been with BHGRE since its inception in the Sandhills and feels the company is a perfect fit for her. Amy received her MRP and GRI designation in 2016, which she feels puts her, along with BHGRE, a notch above the rest. Amy believes that fantasy is in the heart of real estate. You invent the dream and she will find a place to call it home.
